Ceramics Ireland organised in 2020 the fourth of their Triennial Exhibition series: Land/Marks. The exhibition brought together the diverse applications and approaches to clay practice of leading Irish established and emerging makers. Ceramics Ireland views this exhibition as a further stride towards building the reputation and awareness of Irish ceramics practice internationally.
I was invited to be part of the selection committee. 42 ceramic makers, living in Ireland and Irish makers abroad were selected by an international jury. The works were presented in a curated exhibition at Farmleigh Gallery, Dublin (15th August – 31st of October 2020).
For the catalogue that came out with the exhibition I wrote an introductory essay.
