In the exhibition Renewed Past: in jewellery by Evert Nijland and contemporary art, the jewellery maker Evert Nijland curated the display of his own work from the last fifteen years. Hélène acted as an advisor to him and to the other curators. She was also responsible for contracting other artists whose work, like Evert’s, is inspired by the idiom of eighteenth-century ornaments.
